About Me

Hi, well, by now you've probably figured that my name is Noor and I like to write (well, duh). Anyways, I figured I'd tell you a little about me if you'd be reading my writing (why not, right?). So, about me... Yeah. I come from mixed backgrounds. I am American born but my father is Lebanese and my mother is Canadian. Additionally, my mother has Dutch, Irish, French, Native American, and Venezualan ties, so as I said before, I am very culturally diverse (or "culturally confused" as my friends and I might say). I am a proud Muslim and I actually have extended family members that are Christian, Jewish, and even Atheist. I am very open minded and I care about EVERYONE, whether I like to admit it or not. Obviously, writing is one of my passions, but I also love music as well. I think that's what inspired me to start writing song lyrics. Some of the music I listen to includes Taylor Swift, He Is We, Carrie Underwood, The Script, and Evanescence (Just some, hehe). I am the second oldest of four. I have an adorable kitty named Cookie (aka Cookie Monster, Kat, Cookie Shmookie, and so many more weird nicknames). Speaking of nicknames, I have quite a few of my own, including Noora Banadoura, Noora Shatoura, Noora Amoura, Nounish, Llama, and Nunu. I am a pescitarian (and for those of you who don't know what that is, it's basically a vegetarian that eats fish). I was born on August 10, 1995 (you do the math).

Here are some of my favorites:

food- SUSHI!!!

color- purple

song- anything by Taylor Swift or He Is We

movie- A Walk To Remember

Why I'm doing this

Okay, well, like everyone in this topsy-turvy world, I have supporters and "haters". I created this website to prove my "haters" wrong in that people do enjoy what I have to offer through my writing. I also created for my supporters to be able to see what I'm up to and what I'm writing about. I also created it in the hopes of making a name for myself because I would LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEE to have someone well-known to sing or even just read my lyrics. It's my life's dream (don't laugh; could happen... maybe... one day). Some of my friends say that my lyrics kind of sound like some thing that Taylor Swift might write =) I sure as heck hope they're right. *sigh* One day; one day... I promise myself.
